#Day82 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays : #eggs. Next door have gone away and left me in charge of their #chickens. As a thank you for ensuring they are fed and watered, the three of them left me eight (!) fresh eggs this morning. #Filthy but #fresh.

#Day48 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays is the joy I’m getting from this #book. I’m listening to it on #Audible, which is absolutely my preferred way to read autobiographies- but only if, as in this case, it’s narrated by the author themselves.

#Day39 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays: catching the set by the Foos at Glasto tonight. Only on TV as 1) I’m old and 2) I was working, but I’ll take it.

I saw them open on the 4 Stage at V some years ago. A band billed as ‘606’ took to the stage shortly after midday. #606 turned out to be #FooFighters. Now THAT was a surprise performance. First act of the day, not the main stage and a fake name. I was one of fewer than 150 people to see them come out. It was packed by the end. It was epic.

Sometimes it’s music. Sometimes it’s one particular song. Today it was this song. Belted this out at full volume on my way to work, hummed it throughout a ten hour shift, and belted it out again on my way home. This song absolutely made me happy #today.
I’ve never even seen the film.

I managed to take ten minutes away from my desk tonight to sit outside and just be. The #moon was bright and the #sky was a gradient of blues. It was still warm at 2225hrs when I sat in the yard of the station at #Hanley and just breathed for a little while before taking this photo, which is unedited other than a crop.

It was my reason to smile today.

I made it to #day7 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays, and had a few choices for #today - the weather was nice enough for me to wear shorts for the first time this year, the kittens passed their MOTs at the vets and got their first jabs, and I binge watched a thing on #Netflix with Stanley Tucci in and I’ve always liked him and wasn’t disappointed.

But today belongs to #Motherfolk and #FamilyGhost. Because #KillTheSun makes me sing along at the top of my voice and never fails to make me smile.

On #Day6 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays I’m going with this, the view from my seat at the moment we lifted the trophy and were crowned #PremierLeague #Champions again.

It’s such a good feeling to be a #Blue.

It would be too predictable to choose #City as my #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays moment, I think. So I’m going to choose the thing that made me happy before that #today.

I’m back to being a #CatLady again I think, with the addition today of Kevin and Perrie to the household. #Day5 is all about #caturday and these two #kittens. 💙

X-ray done this morning, and I was complimented by the radiographer on my new-from-Vinted #aquascutum linen shirt, which was nice and makes me think it was a good purchase.

I’ve spent the rest of #today doing very little. A real rest day, which I needed.

My #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays moment today is this delicious #katsu chicken and rice for dinner, passed over the fence to me by my awesome neighbours this evening. I just get a text asking for a bowl, and it comes back filled! 😁

Well #today is #day2 of #100HappyDays / #365HappyDays and it’s an absolute no brainer. There have actually been a number of things that have made me happy today, but sitting with my mum watching #ManCity pull that performance out of the bag and stick it to #RealMadrid… that was special. #MCFC
