Oldest game I *still* play is probably 5E. I was a wee lad in the D&DNext play test in 2013, so I've either been playing or running it for like...10 years. And I'm sick of it!

What if I just required attunement for anyone to use it? My party wants more healing because their bard and cleric are seldom able to attend and I don't really care for giving them a crate of healing potions.

Today I had my second session of my game introducing new players to #OSE using Tomb of the Serpent Kings as their guide to this style of play. So far, so fun!

Designed an entire #5eDnD session around this mini. A colony of crawling hands were stealing rings and ring like objects from the town and bringing them to the giant hand they worshipped. After exploring a nasty cave where individual hands pestered the characters they eventually made it to the final chamber and survived attacks of swarms of hands.

I am starting to read "Worlds Without Number". Several people have recommended it to me to replace the 5th edition rules for my next campaign. I have always found the players too strong and the sense of danger is almost non-existent with this version. Also, the book is full of good advice for setting up a sandbox campaign. #ttrpg #5ednd #WorldsWithoutNumber

#introduction Hello, I'm Nem, I am rather awkward and have never been particularly good at social media. I am interested in #ttrpgs, I DM a homebrewed #5ednd campaign. I paint #miniatures for my campaign and sometimes stream myself painting them.

I have also been quite interested in #fantasy and #classicliterature for as long as I have been able to read. I enjoy getting to know new people and hearing about other interests!

Had a great session of #5ednd this weekend. The players ran away from a fight and found themselves on the 2nd level of the dungeon with no clear route to safety or a room to hole up in and heal. Then they found stairs to level 3! More problems, yay.

In the end they defeated the bandits they were looking for and retrieved a (possibly) invaluable art object. One of the bandits got away, so now I can bring him back later and share his backstory. #ttrpg

Although I haven't been able to play her as a PC (the forever DM role hurts me), she does pop up from time to time in my campaigns as a little shop keeper.
