I'm trying to MIDI map a Keystep to control a Volca Beats. It works as is, but the keys are all over the place, and I want it to be in a nice row with the first 10 keys. I think since I don't have a Keystep Pro or 37, I may not have that ability. Anybody out there have any insight?

I was going to buy a hardware synth, prob the Deepmind 12, but other things got in the way. So I got the MicroKorg VST. It’s an amazing synth and I can create the sounds I really like but I wanted a controller for lots of knob twiddling. The Arturia Minilab mk2 has lots of knobs so I picked one up cheap. I created some custom codecs for Reason to map the controls, I even have the arp working from the pads, and made some custom overlays. Works a treat and looks cool! #synth #korg #arturia #reason
