That's how one could describe the 4 albums by them, every single one a masterpiece. This is the band I've seen live the most times and every performance is still haunting to this day.

Brilliant mix of #oldschool #game melodies and raw #blackmetal. Some may find them annoying and others might be skeptical of their quality due to huge amount of releases in their 2 years of existence so far. To me, however, this is exactly the right kind of catchy, cheesy and refreshing approach to bm I didn't know I was missing in my life and I think many others agree.

#Sørgelig 1/x

One of the best modern #dsbm bands out there and of the modern #greek #metal scene.

I've seen them often being compared to #Silencer due to similarities in some of the vocals but personally I think Sørgelig transcend Silencer in terms of vocals.

Musically they also have a more aggressive and rocking style mixed with dsbm in addition to the typical drawn out songs.

#Barathrum 1/x

This is one of the classic #finnish #blackmetal bands along with the likes of #Beherit & #ImpaledNazarene, as they've been active since at least 1990.

Their discography includes a lot of ranges from #thrashmetal like fast paced, to #doommetal and #symphonic offerings in their otherwise straightforward style of black metal.

their second album Sade et Masoch is the one I've listened to most. The music, #classical compositions and lyrics are just captivating and beautiful throughout. I can say with certainty that especially the song Sade has had a substantial influence on my own songwriting, bot lyric & composition wise.

their first album already had some remarkable compositions that are still among their best material despite the dated production. At this stage the band was really a one man project with a very noticable drum machine.

after their 3rd album Jahreszeiten they decided to stray away from the #nature related themes and focus more on social critique with heavy use of #religious imagery in a metaphorical way
