Since #Battlefield2042 had so many bad reviews and those kind of games cost 60€, I subscribed to EA Play, 4€/month for the game (plus many others).

The thing is that I feel like it's almost designed to be this way, maybe not BF since they release games hardly often, but #CallofDuty and similars, with a yearly release at that price it's absurd to expect people to buy all the games, and I think that unless you love it, a subscription is the way

A dzisiaj trochę z innej beczki, bo o ile zazwyczaj na gry marudzę tak... dzisiaj o #Battlefield2042 napiszę coś pozytywnego.

Akurat B2042 to przykład takiej gry, której cholernie dużo zrobiłoby przełożenie premiery o rok do przodu i porządne betatesty społecznościowe. Biorąc pod uwagę, że w 2021 roku we wrześniu gra była w fatalnym stanie (oraz wybrano chyba najgorsze mapy do przedstawienia tej gry światu), a po premierze właściwie mało co się zmieniło, tak w tym roku rzeczywiście coś się ruszyło.

Pamiętam, jak miałem możliwość ogrania zawartości drugiego sezonu i wtedy również mówiłem o jednym - tak, widać poprawę, ale to dopiero początek pewnego procesu, który zapewne jeszcze trochę potrwa, a i Ripple Effect trudno zaufać po takiej wpadce bo nie ma co owijać w bawełnę, że premiera tej gry była zbyt mocno dociśnięta.

Pojawił się natomiast trzeci sezon i EA poszło na całość - dali dwie tury darmowego triala (ten drugi trwał tydzień, ten pierwszy to był chyba weekendowy - mogę się mylić) i postanowiłem spróbować. Tak po prostu, bo jednak trochę czasu minęło, święta idą, można pokombinować i zobaczyć czy gry się dopiekły... i no wreszcie da się w tego Battlefielda grać bez frustracji. Oczywiście nadal są rzeczy, które mnie kolą w oczy (to, że na mapach jest zbyt wiele otwartych terenów), ale wszystko idzie w miarę dobrym kierunku, a wprowadzenie normalnych loadoutów czy Exodus Conquest to te elementy, które mi tego wszystkiego dopełniają.

To tylko potwierdza jedno - tak, warto gry przytrzymać i dopiec w piekarniku niż wydawać zakalca. A w ostatnim czasie wiele tytułów zwyczajnie tego potrzebuje.

Quick! Make a new one Battlefield 2000 something futuristic and shit and like overhype it and purposefully annoy our playerbase by implementing features we know they hate and on top of that release it like 2 months before the deadline and overpriced af so that it's realll buggy shit for the retards to give us free marketing through complaining about how much of a shit it is on the internet and meme it to the point where we are peaking our trending charts and buy Battlefield 1 that we put in a discount.

Then like let them play for 2 months during which we somewhat finish the new thing and then they will give us more money
