as I continue really slowly through my backlog of adventures, I ran Demon Driven To the Maw (also for #CairnTtrpg) today. Totally different from Tannic (which I ran last time, really great.

Some notes:
- I liked how it was set in literally Scotland. I like how Cairn has a lot less implicit setting stuff built into the ruleset and it's fairly easy to put it in other settings.

- I wonder if anyone actually has tried running it in Fallen. It would be a really good fit for the Fallen setting.

I did it, this is the earliest I have published anything and it needs a lot more work, but it's probably playable?

After a few months of not being able to schedule anything, I got to GM a game. I ran Tannic, for #CairnTtrpg - it was a lot of fun, and also we actually finished a one shot on time, a thing which I think I have never previously done

Putting examples of vehicles in the Silente regulation. They really aren't much different from the PCs, except that their tags are purchased by spending stat points, which symbolize the energy tapped to power them.

Is there any reason why character generation has to be all about mechanics, though? Could you have a fun optional minigame before the session where you basically generate prompts for a backstory? A big part of Cairn is that you only really pull out the dice when things go really wrong, and you spend a lot more time in "freeplay" than say, 5e

Un testeillo antes de ir a la cama. Generador de planetas CF para Cairn.

Por ahora el planeta tiene una especie de belleza perturbadora que altera la mente si es contemplado mucho rato. Hay alguna perturbación que altera las comunicaciones y debido a lo de que igual te enloquece no atrae mucho turismo (es lo que tiene)

@pookie I wholly agree re #CairnTtrpg. Too dark for Dolmenwood and doesn't deliver either tools to programmatically create a setting nor a scenario to show case it.

Here's another one that's very much a WIP. Teaching myself stuff here as I go, still quite rough in parts. For the same adventure in progress.
