“King Kong” (1976) 0/4 - Did the same person who wrote “Three Days of the Condor” pen #Kong stripping #JessicaLange and getting accused by #CharlesGrodin of attempted rape? Is #JeffBridges doing a proto-Dude? Did the big oil metaphor of Kong popping out of the gas pump wow Kael, Canby, and Shicklel to garner their positive reviews? How about #Kongfrontation, a theme park ride, and another $19.5 million for NBC to broadcast an extended-family-friendly-version? Yup, this is truly a dump of a film.
