The 45 mph #CitroënAmi quadricycle with a range of 75 km (and no safety other than a seatbelt) is €8K.

I rented the €12K #DaciaSandero sh*tbox. It’s horrid in comparison to the €19K Peugeot.

The best hope I’ve seen lately is the #CitroënOli concept.

Saw this little Citroen Ami between Nuneaton and Bulkington the other day. If I were ever to need a car, I think some sort of micro-car would be it. Relatively small and lightweight, electric, minimalist - much more suited as an urban runabout than many regular cars and SUVs.

@davidwilkins @nlarson830 I had the pleasure of driving a #CitroënAmi Super. That used a 1,015 ‪cm³‬ air coooled flat 4 originally intended for the bigger GS (which then got a bigger 1,222 cm³ engine instead) producing 55 hp — not bad for 1970 on such a light body, 13 Kg/hp, allowing a top speed of 90 mph.

Front disc brakes in the engine compartment! 😍

It was also superbly comfortable on the roughest roads, paved or unpaved.
