'The Palace of Rohtas Garh at Bihar'.
c1780 AD by William Daniell R.A. (1769-1837).

This Palace traces its to the 7th century, thanks to an inscription found here. In the 16th cent. ruler 's Viceroy of & Raja Man Singh of renovated this palace. The future Mughal ruler took refuge here twice.
It was also used by the in the 18th cent.

Made of Marble inlaid with semi-precious stones, this was the first Mughal monument to move away from using only red sandstone.
