Three centuries in the last five games, one of which was a double, the new leading run scorer for New Zealand in test cricket, 27 test centuries altogether and not far away from 8,000 test runs. All done with a serenity and elegance, as well as a loveable modest attitude, that makes it impossible to watch without a smile on your face.

Kane Williamson will definitely go down as our greatest of all times. We're lucky to have him in this New Zealand team.

Another wonderful game of test cricket goes down to the final day, and is decided by a bare margin. A wicket offers plenty for pacers, a little bit of spin, also runs if you get yourself in. Both tails have a bit of fun in the first innings, before two legends of their respective sides show all their experience and class, to reach centuries, first to set up a challenging run chase, and then to see said run chase home on the FINAL ball.

Well done New Zealand and Sri Lanka. What a brilliant advert for the longest form of the game! 👏

Jofra Archer to play for Mumbai Indians Cape Town, according to The Cricketer. Given his fragility, and only recently ended long-term absence from the England team, I think this is a ridiculous idea. It could lead to him being out of action for the Ashes and the next 50 over World Cup.
