One of my hubbles has received a doctor's note stating that he can't do a specific thing because of physical injury. His employer has forced him to do the thing.
What are his legal rights? Could he sue his employer for doing this?

For many years now, employers in California were prohibited from requiring employees to enter into arbitration agreements as part of their employment relationship. But in the recent Bonta case, the 9th Circuit found that California's ban on mandatory arbitration agreements is also preempted by the FAA.

🐘The latest employment tribunal compensation award statistics have been published (covering July to September 2022).

🐘 The highest amount of compensation awarded in the period was £228,117 - in a race discrimination claim, followed by £225,893 in a disability discrimination claim.

🐘The highest award in an unfair dismissal claim was £165,000. Awards for unfair dismissal claims are usually capped (currently £93,878)

🐘The average award in unfair dismissal cases is £7,650.
