One of my hubbles has received a doctor's note stating that he can't do a specific thing because of physical injury. His employer has forced him to do the thing.
What are his legal rights? Could he sue his employer for doing this?

For many years now, employers in California were prohibited from requiring employees to enter into arbitration agreements as part of their employment relationship. But in the recent Bonta case, the 9th Circuit found that California's ban on mandatory arbitration agreements is also preempted by the FAA.
