Spring rolls onward, gaining steam,
gaining green.
First shy flowers multiply
spreading from garden and wetland
to lawn and woodland
ever more bigger brighter bolder.
Trees continue with catkins
some heading rapidly to seed
leaves burst overnight and
cones shower the world in golden pollen.
