Since this demo, we've seen OPV use on a couple of rocket and #satellite projects, and additional protocol layers implemented. Current work is to integrate OPV into the FPGA work for #Haifuraiya

Final stretch of an important component for a COBS protocol decoder. This goes into #Haifuraiya which is an #opensource #HEO or #GEO #amateur #satellite on the #microwave bands.
This writeup shows how the #VHDL was designed for the #FPGA used.
There's a bug with tlast right now, but it's a problem only when frame delimiters are stretched more than a byte. This isn't something that "should" happen, but it "could", so the decoder is designed to tolerate it.

There's timeouts when sending data. We think the DMA data is not keeping up, and once we rev the clock down, timeouts will go away.
