Today the first Turkish Cypriot ‘Χαλλουμι’ (Halloumi)/‘Hellim’ producer was awarded the Protected Designation of Origin certificate.

The EU registered #Halloumi as PDO in 2021. Producers from both Cypriot communities are certified to benefit from this.

The group shall bring about an exchange of information and good practices.
