A low key ending for #InsomniacsAfterSchool felt right.

OK, I wasn’t expecting Magari asking Isaki if he could kidnap her to be quite THAT much of a sweet and romantic line.

But that’s #InsomniacsAfterSchool for you. :)

Also: I think @rdm would really appreciate the focus on astronomical photography that is really core to #InsomniacsAfterSchool.

I’ve been saying this for weeks now but #InsomniacsAfterSchool is such a great show, understated writing that works **really** well with deeply realised characters.

The latest episode has probably one of the best first kiss scenes in anime.

Note that I was able to partially, but ONLY partially, predict the outcome that #InsomniacsAfterSchool would arrive at this episode, and only because I was EXPECTING good writing by this point.

I wasn’t disappointed.

Both subverted AND justified. Goddamn but the writing in #InsomniacsAfterSchool is GOOD.

Seriously, if you haven’t been watching Insomniacs After School, give it a try. It’s nowhere near as flashy as #OshiNoKo which has been getting all the attention this season, but I think it’s a better show overall.

Based on that tag Isaki’s sister is a menace. I look forward to the rest of the #InsomniacsAfterSchool episode subverting that to some extent.

One of the reasons for which being that #InsomniacsAfterSchool will deliberately avoid fan service that might get in the way of the character work that it’s much, MUCH, more interested in pursuing.

OK, time for #InsomniacsAfterSchool which I’m really enjoying this season.

Besides, any show that can make a romantic moment out of two characters falling asleep in different houses has to have some good writing going on. #InsomniacsAfterSchool

#InsomniacsAfterSchool reminds me that there are many ways to show and receive trust. Very good show, recommended.
