Another little pepper study with my #JellyGouache paints. Trying a thick-over-thin technique, a bit like you’d use with oils. You can’t go as thick and juicy with gouache, but it’s much cleaner to work with and these #HimiGouache stay nice and vibrant on the paper.

So gooey, and mixing up the "My First Palette" colors I have so I can get colors I want to work with is hella messy. Appreciate any tips anyone can offer on working with these!

I have never been great at drawing environments, especially cities because they scare me with the level of detail they have.
So I took my chance to practice with my new jelly gouache. Definitely didn't do a sketch before so everything is wonky but at least it's a start!
