@murks Never put your passwords in the cloud... I would use #KeepassXC (Android) or #KeePassium (iOS) with #NextCloud, #WebDAV or #Syncthing.

But mb its not beginner friendly, but if you do the work, your friends should only click a few buttons at the end.

What is a feasible way to use and sync a #KeepassXC database/keeshare subdir on/with an #iPhone?

Idea: Sync a "Keeshare file" (which is a plain kdbx2 file, right?) with the iPhone via #Syncthing and use #KeePassium there...?

Anyone successfully and painlessly using this combination?

@duxsco I am very happy with #KeePassXC and #KeePassium but the #Git commit signing is a very interesting mention, thank you.

After hemming, hawing, and some tinkering, I figured out keepass via KeePassXC on Mac and Keepasium Pro for iOS.

It has all the features i loved on 1Password minus being online, centralized, and, if not already, be subject to cyber attacks.

I'm opting for a secure, offline model from here on out

@deflate KeePassXC has versions for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
It doesn't have official mobile ports, but they suggest using one of these for iOS

or one of these for Android

• KeePassDX
• KeePass2Android

I use KeePass2Android and have no complaints.

I am using #KeePassXC on my Macs and #KeePassium on my iPad and iPhone. Very satisfied with this setup.

I have just finished my 'project' for the last days!

- Changed all my passwords which were stored on #LastPass
- Set up #KeePassXC with my #Yubikey which now syncs over all my devices via #KeePassium on iOS
- Got a refund from for my yearly LastPass subscription
- Deleted my #LastPass account

I've learned my lesson. I'd much rather spend this time with my family and friends.

Ich nutze das auch schon seit Jahren, ist echt ein Game Changer.

Vor allem in Verbindung mit einer #Nextcloud zum synchronisieren und #KeePassium für #iOS, um mich bequem auf Seiten & Apps einzuloggen.

Man muss nur aufpassen bei der Kombination #KeePassXC und KeePassium, da braucht’s noch eine Anpassung in den Einstellungen von KeePassXC, damit KeePassium nicht den Anschluss verliert:

Welche #Apps könnt ihr empfehlen? Kriterien: #FreieSoftware, dürfen aber Geld kosten, Tracking möglichst nur via Opt-In.

Started to use « #KeePassium » on an #iPhone. Don’t know if it’s the app or an other app that is compromised and accessing it’s storage; in any case now my 2 factor Auth is on fire on all my services stored on that wallet. Yay
