Just watched #KnockAtTheCabin.
The movie adaptation was very good. The actors were all top-notch. It was emotionally wrenching. #JonathanGroff just has to stand there looking sweet and vulnerable and I’m in tears.
But I was left with the feeling that maybe gay people shouldn’t be asked to give up everything to (possibly) save the world.

Vacationing in an isolated cabin, a couple and their daughter are taken hostage by strangers convinced they have been chosen to avert the apocalypse.
Somewhat wild premise for a tight contained thriller with clever twists, great cast and razor-sharp direction.

#KnockAtTheCabin was a solid film. #DaveBautista continues to choose interesting roles which could really work out for him long term. He may not be as popular as #TheRock but his characters are FAR more interesting.

#KnockAtTheCabin was not a good watch for me. M. Night movies are definitely a mix bag for me. I often like the ones that don't and don't like the ones others do. Haven't heard much one way or the other for others opinions but I feel like that's pretty telling too.
