#LeMondeDeDemain or #ReignSupreme , is about the origins of the rap group #NTM and takes place in the ‘80’s France. The show (like the groups music, apparently) deals with really heavy subjects such as poverty, abuse, sex work, and cops and the growth of hip hop during that time period. So that’s a content warning. But the show I highly recommend.

There is a #French show on #Netflix that I really want to promote, and that is #ReignSupreme or #LeMondeDeDemain in French. It’s about a famous French rap group, #NTM , which I knew nothing about previous to watching, since I don’t know much about French music or French rap in particular, since I don’t listen to much rap in general. This show is really very good.

La série #LeMondeDeDemain d’abord diffusée sur #Arte maintenant disponible sur Netflix, qui nous raconte les débuts du groupe NTM, Lady V et DJ Dee Nasty, C’est vachement bien. Big up les jeunes acteurs qui sont excellentissimes Laïka Blanc-Francard, Léo Chalié, Melvin Boomer, Anthony Bajon, Andranic Manet… Une ruche de talents.
