Quick question for you publising types re: determining who agented a certain book. If an author doesn't have an acknowledgements section where that info would typically be, any suggestions as to how one finds out who the specific agent is (i.e., not just the publisher)? Thanks!

@ajsramblings follow all those hashtags you posted. I would also look at #MSWL and #BookTube and if you like Audiobooks, #Audiobook and #Audiobooks I would also suggest following #LiteraryAgent and #LiteraryAgents and #AmQuerying I hope pitch events make it over here soon!

A two-sentence email stating that your book is well-written, even if an agent can't accept it, can make your whole day. Sometimes validation is the key. Thank you, and take note #literaryagents ❤️

Also, I noticed you hadn't accepted any follower requests so no one will be able to follow your toots (I think). I only saw this in the local feed. But I'm totally new and I may be wrong.

Since I haven't connected with any #LiteraryAgents here I feel safe to ask this:

I keep coming across agents who ask for literary / contemporary ("*NO* genre fiction!!") and then immediately ask for comps to #SFF books or writers. Last night I saw one who said their "taste in literary fiction runs towards Alix E. Harrow, N. K. Jemisin, and Erin Morgenstern."

Like, you keep using that word. I'm not sure it means what you think it means.

Can someone explain this to me???
