As usual, capturing colors is hard and capturing complicated colors is harder. Will try again when the sun is up.

I like the opalescence of the beads, but I’m still waiting for the pattern to get exciting. Which it should rapidly, this is 70 odd rows deep.

Photographing this one is going to be a huge pain in the ass. There’s so much shine that the camera is struggling to focus on it, and the layering of color means that this will end up being larger and larger chonks of yarn barf.

Beads acquired - they're silver lined clear beads, so no real change in the coloration but a lovely holo shine.

I have just made it 100x more likely that every goddamn picture I post will say "It looks so much more colorful in real life!"

Gonna have to up my camera game for this one. :|

Next MKAL shawl starts Valentine’s Day and is themed to match, so this is the right yarn. Some magpie part of my nature was taken with it (it is very shiny) but the colors are very much not to my gothy tastes and I will instead be selling the final project off to a GQ friend at much less than it’s worth. As a fellow knitter they know exactly how good a deal they are getting, and I get to subsidize my hobby. Which is good - gotta go buy 1300 beads XD
