I watched #MidnightMass again... midnight masterpiece. My first watch, I loved everything but had a really hard time connecting with the religious aspects (left me very uncomfortable) and I couldn't pull from the monologues. If you were like me, please try it again. The second watch was great and I gained a better understanding. This show is great.

Station 3 auf meinem #Bildungsweg #Tod und #Trauer (mit Teil 4 geht es zu Ende 😅): Will ich das ewige Leben? Bei der Frage kam mir ins Bewusstsein, wie sehr ich die Ewigkeit fürchte. Was ewiges Leben bedeutet, ließ mich vor allem die Serie #MidnightMass verstehen. Denn dort gleicht sie einem Monster, das für den Erhalt des eigenen Lebens fremdes Leben konsumieren muss. Vielleicht nannte #Nietzsche das Verlangen nach ewigem Leben deshalb den größtmöglichen Ausdruck von Egoismus?

I made Oyakodon for dinner last night and also tried a can of Dark Berry Dr. Pepper. Quite impressed, like a fruity dandelion and burdock.

If anyone needs something to watch, "midnight mass" is .. wow. I mean if you can get through the end of episode 5 (of 7). It's very slow moving, and philosophical but if you're into shows that require patience... wow. Oh and Netflix. It's the same creator that did haunting of hill house if that helps.

#MidnightMass … episode three … awards have been earned.

Netflixの『真夜中のミサ』、ぜんぶ観ちゃった。最終話のエンドロールをみながら泣いちゃった。とても上品で上質で美しくいホラーでございました。作品のモチーフに従って言葉で世界を形作っていくために登場人物たちがとにかく話し続けるんだけど、ちっとも退屈を感じないのよね。いろんな教訓が込められているし、いまのアメリカにはものすごい勢いでぶっ刺さるシナリオだと思いますが、ちっとも説教臭くなくて、ただただ圧倒された。なにひとつとして無駄なものがなく、丁寧に作り込まれておりました。マイク・フラナガン、最高。そして、まったくの予備知識無しにこの作品を発見して観た自分、えらい。
