Good decision by Board of Appeals on the #MissionGreenway tonight. Monkeybrains will not get to build its iron gate, with the finding being made that the permit was issued improperly as they are not the owner of the parcel.

They also heard a ton of support for community green space rather than a commercial parking lot.

I’m learning so much at the #missionGreenway. These are not tomatillos, like I thought, but underripe golden berries. Also harvested some shelling peas and sugar snap peas.

Great day: tried the La Oaxaqueña vegan burrito @skinnylatte recommended — yup, it’s good — planted strawberries at the #MissionGreenway, and went to SOMArts’ #MuniRaisedMe exhibit featuring a customized Muni bus centerpiece.

Inspiring community meeting tonight on the #MissionGreenway. Love how people are coming together to defend the space as open to all, and appreciated the reflections, including comments from Tree (the elderly gardener who's been taking care of the land for years) on staying positive.

For 8 years #Monkeybrains has been my ISP and my recommendation to everyone in SF who would listen.

They are now attempting a hostile takeover of the #MissionGreenway, public land that neighbors have been trying to open up to all for years. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it.

People have been fighting for decades to make it officially a public green space, but a local realtor recently fenced it off and is trying to claim ownership
