Indonesia is giving US $460M in subsidies for electric motorcycle purchases through the end of next year. It's part of the country's plan to put 2 million electric motorcycles on the road in the next 3 years.

I'm about to do a 2000 mile round trip on my bike for the first time and I think I'm overly knit picking every little thing on my bike.

The farthest I've gone before was around 600 miles round trip in one day. It was basically my test run. It turned out to be pouring rain the entire time and my bike struggled in the rain some but still powered through and kept up in the pack at 90-100mph on the interstate. I keep telling my self that if it could handle that hell ride then I should be fine. But for some reason I'm in my head about this trip.

And this 1000 miles one way and then a couple of days to hangout before coming back so I will at least have time to check the bike over when we get there. And it's not like there will be a shortage of parts and mechanics if I need one when I get there.

I rode the V85 into Eugene for my blood donation today. I managed to strike the right balance between wearing enough layers to be warm and still being able to roll up my sleeve for the phlebotomist. Took one of the fun roads home. #Motorcycle #Motorcycles #GiveBlood

About two years ago, I took the red bike and the good camera up along Ferntop Ridge, a bit east of Devil's Staircase Wilderness.

On the one hand, I sort of think this one is a bit over-processed. On the other hand, I do like the way I've over-processed it. Beneath it all, some part of me grumbles that if I'm going to make my photos look like drawings, I should just draw.
