#OldSchoolDungeonsAndDragons honestly and many post #osr and #nsr games, #dnd heartbreakers and hacks in all of their glory (#folkdnd). For me, old school #dnd offers a robust „grammar“ for creating various blends of adventure gaming. I also love the mechanics of #TrophyGoldRPG because they facilitate cooperative storytelling in an astonishing manner. And: much love for #PbtA systems (pl). i see pbta as a „grammar“ for hyperfocused genre emulation

@hachx0 if you are looking for non #CorporateDnD alternative with #dnDNA I like to recommend #ShadowdarkRPG. The game is currently hyped, but for good reasons, I think. Shadowdark merges #5e mechanisms with design principles of #OldSchoolDungeonsAndDragons iterations. The game is very accessible, which is great for introducing new players. Character creation takes only minutes. Gameplay is fast, combat is dangerous, the book provides plenty of DM Ressources

Trotz müde nochmal ne Stunde an meinem #OldSchoolDungeonsAndDragons Szenario gebastelt und mich dem Lebenszyklus von Riesenspinnen und ihrer Rolle für die Mythologie der Bewohner*innen einer abgelegenen Insel befasst. Dabei wohlig gegruselt. Ein #Dungeon steht, der zweite ist in Planung und der erste Spieltest lief ganz gut. Jetzt werden Hexfelder befüllt und Zufallstabellen erstellt #pnpde #osr
