People using #orgzly on Android who want to avoid those sync conflicts might want to read this:

@akib I really don't think that this is a good idea to add support for touch-screens into #Emacs.
Working on non-trivial things in Emacs requires a decent keyboard.
Any change in that respect would change the character of Emacs in a negative way IMHO. If you want to get the power of Emacs, you need a (physical) keyboard.
For other purposes, use apps like #Orgzly and so forth which were developed with touch-screens and mobile in mind.

I've been using #OrgMode in #Emacs for task - and everything else - management for a few years. Also #Orgzly on mobile and #syncthing to keep it all together. They have served me very well :)

@bwdiaz I did this as well with the wonderful #orgzly app as #orgmode companion.
But this led to the practice of using more and more orgmode for private life than #bujo .
This is why I try to avoid digital helpers for private thoughts and tasks (not for business life and IT-2nd brain)
@Drops I'm running Orgzly with Syncthing without such an issue so far except the issues with Orgzly's internal sync. After I enabled "sync on any occasion" (in separate settings), I only got one instance of things lost.
It's reliable enough that I switched from #MobileOrg to #Orgzly for mobile capture a couple of months ago.
Previously, I was using MobileOrg for capture and Orgzly for read-only access to my Org files.
I just uninstalled #MobileOrg Donate Android after switching to #Orgzly also for capture.
Thank you very much for the excellent service for almost a decade! :emacs: :orgmode: 🙇♂️
