Dunstig sind meine Bilder auch. Man müsste an einem windigen Tag da hoch. Oder an einem anderen, aber dafür verstehe ich das Wetter zu wenig. Ich hab halt eine Funktion in #RawTherapee namens "Bildschleier entfernen". Das bringt schon mal einiges. Ich bin sicher, dass die Bilder noch viel besser sein könnten, ich aber einfach nicht weiß wies geht.

Ich brauche eindeutig Unterricht für #RawTherapee . Der Hintergrund ist zu grell, das Grün zu Gelb, und der Baum zu wenig Rot. Aber so sieht man den #Buntspecht noch am besten.

I know absolutely nothing about photo processing or whatever the thing you do with raw files is called. I was curious.

I stared at the UI for like 2 minutes. Then I noped the shit away from it.

And I am not going to spend several hours watching tutorial videos on YouTube. The format does not quite work for me.

Supa. Schönes Wetter draußen. Voll warm. Ab in den Stadtpark, neue Kamera ausprobieren. Auch gleich schön in C-RAW geknipst. Das führt zu Format .CR3, was weder #Darktable noch #RawTherapee öffnen kann.

On the off chance that anyone who sees this uses #DarkTable or #RawTherapee , do you use one or bothor even more ? I've just about got to grips with DT, but find the interface on RT more polished. I also like some features of #gimp. Should I invest another year learning RT !!?? #photography #filmphotograpy

Any #photographers here doing raw development on #Linux?

What software should I look into? So far I found #Rawstudio and #RawTherapee (both of which don't seem to be really maintained anymore, last releases were 5 and 2 years ago) and #darktable.

I don't really need anything fancy, just lens and sensor correction (which all tools seem to be doing via #lensfun), white balance and exposure correction, a bit of color management and batch processing - which I supposed all tools offer anyway.
