#Munich is celebrating #75years of #Israel's #Independence today on #IsraelDay! For the occasion, #Shevamuc, an exquisitely delicious craft #beer (which technically can't be called #Bier around here, because it contains a tiny bit of cardamom, but f**k th #Reinheitsgebot just for a moment), has been brewed by a collaboration of the Be'er Sheeva Beer House and the Werksviertel Bräu #München. Of course, there's also wonderful food and great music!

@kirjis@khat.komitea.fi I'm no expert on this, but I've heard that wheat gluten is supposed to be the most allergenic (is that true btw?).

Since according to the #Reinheitsgebot, the only ingredients permitted for #Beer are water, barley and hops, there's zero wheat #gluten. Barley does contain it, though - but very little of that seems to trickle into the end product (if you drink #Augustiner, which I'd highly recommend anyway):

But there's no "official" gluten free #Munich Beer.

@mc @ParadeGrotesque @publius Every #beer that is brewed according to the german #Reinheitsgebot (all #Munich beers are) should be considered at least as vegan friendly, since the only ingredients allowed are water, barley and hops.

Some of those however might not count as vegan according to stricter standards (i.e. no involvement of animals in the whole production process in any way whatsoever), as manure is used quite often as a fertilizer around here.
