While there I went to the Hokkaido Museum of Northern Peoples, and the Abashiri Prison Museum - there's a lot to do, and a lot of inspiration to be had. In summer I am looking forward to hike on #Shiretoko Peninsula (seen as snowy mountains in the background of the third image)!
