@Oryx I feel you completely. I spent 15-20 years begging drs to realize that there was other things going on than the #SpinaBifida and #chiari I was born with that they blamed everything on. I have since been diagnosed with a type of #MD, #Lupus, #Sjögrens , #RLS , #essentialtremor, #narcolepsy , #mcas, #mastocytosis, and I got sick every time I ate because my gallbladder was at 15% function which they ignored and told me I was fat. ALL of that was supposed to be JUST my Spina Bifida.

@RainbowBody I have central neuropathic pain from #SpinaBifida, and surgery didn't help. My doc and I considered Gabaergics, ultimately I went anouther route but it's still an option in my future.

Would love to know about the "mental health dangers" - can you point me to any links?

@brucebarcott I just want to share that it's been life-changing for me.

I want people to know the relief it can bring is real and that we're not all lying so we can get high.

Tinctures work the best for me - I don't tolerate vape / smoke well, edibles take forever, and are easy to overdo.

I have #SpinaBifida, and I find it helps with a variety of physical and mental issues. Cannabis is my alternative to an intrathecal pain pump - basically a surgically implanted morphine drip.

@doozydoesstuff Every doctor I've seen has said I'm "very smart".

What they mean is people with #SpinaBifida have to earn a PhD before graduating from kindergarten and explain everything to each of our doctors in language even _they_ can understand :D j/k

I ran out of room, so I'll add here that I also have #ChronicPain for which surgery and OTC medications were unsuccessful. Very thankful to have found #edibles which seem to help so many #SpinaBifida symptoms.
