Just watched an old movie on Pluto Channel that I don't recall seeing before called "Love with a Proper Stranger" (1963).
The movie starts out strong but ends poorly but is still worth watching IMO because it's about a woman (Wood) who gets pregnant after a fling w/a guy (McQueen) and has to struggle with the decision whether to get an illegal abortion or not.
The movie is quite moving & dramatic up to the point of making that decision BUT then devolves into a lame romcom between Wood & McQueen who weren't all that well suited to such roles.
But, if you've never seen the movie, I think that it's still worth watching the 1st half of the film up to & thru the abortion decision, which (as I recall from those days) was a extremely traumatic because there we no legal options available then and it represents a time that the GOP now stupidly want all women of child bearing age to have to return to again. 😡

Bullitt, a ground-breaking movie in 1968 not just for the car chase but for its gritty realistic feel. Steve McQueen's performance redefined the concept of the movie cop, and Bullitt redefined the cop movie. Great film.
