Listening to #TheloniousMonk, ’Round Midnight: The Complete Blue Note Singles 1947-1952, with a cup of coffee at 1 am. I knew before I fell asleep that I should have moved to the bed. Maybe then I would still be asleep. But, instead, I accidentally fell asleep in my desk chair and as a result, combined with the usual #insomnia, didn't sleep very long. I did get enough sleep to recover from Saturday, which was just an awful, awful day. Some days it is really obvious that 1.) I definitely live in the south, and 2.) I have become really isolated from people in this city since I started #wfh. It is beyond criminal how southern state governments have influenced #publiceducation and I promise you it is evident as you interact with society here. What is even more fun is that I have jury duty this week so I get to interact with the judicial system. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about that. No, really. I mean it. (I don't)
