I’ve been a fan of #DistributedComputing / #VolunteerComputing since the distributed.net days, rolling into #BOINC, and on. The technical side is neat, but I also love the idea of lots of people coming together to #volunteer their skills/resources/etc to work on something bigger than any one could do on their own
