[Lara] isn't exactly the poser-type, but I couldn't help it. Oh, and [Karbes] is the ship's "artificial personality", so basically an AI with way too many "lively" features for a created being.

Her name is [#Lokhana Trin'Toro], she belongs to the [#ZhorKhat] species and the crew of the [Arak'Tera], [Zhaikes]' ship. Oh boi, so many foreign names..

All in all I drew more characters lately, not just random people of my world. I guess I was uncomfortable to draw them, as I was afraid to "not get them right". But I gave up comfortableness. I don't need that anymore (:

#concept of a female [#ZhorKhat], my alien species.
first-glance differences to males:
- tend to be smaller
- have a "flat" chin instead of 2 pointy ends (although there are females with small nubs on their chins too)

I need to make a better sketch though, this one was really quick.

[Rika] is one of my main characters. she is a [#Baralimsa], a human-like species, and lives on a giant space station, the city of the stars, [Set Il Rega].
the lines on her body are not paint or tattoos, it's a pattern that grows on the [Baralimsa] as they age. each has their very own pattern, like a fingerprint.

[Rika] has a POV in my novel along with 5 other characters. a good friend is editing it and asked if I can draw her :)

didn't know that #PortfolioDay is a thing. but ok, here are some aliens!

I usually draw in a range from traditional to digital media and everything in between.

first one is a pencil drawing + digital textures and (kinda grayscale) coloring. second and third one were done with finelines + similar digital edits to various extents. and the last one is pencil drawing again + digital colors and heavy edits to make it glow :)
