#Ham study weekend. Finally reading my 2010-2014 era #AARL Radio License Manual (yes its dated, but I bought it years ago and darn it I am going to read it... ). Also listening to a great youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIAppQPMznY.

I will get this technician license cranked out this year. Excited to finally spend time committing to a nearly decade long goal. Maybe longer if I count all the interesting packet radio notes in the #linux kernel going way back to the 90s.

FCC Tech test date set! After that I have to hunt down the #AARL course in Emergency Comm and I'll be ready to level up in CERT.

I won't level up, because dissertationnnnnn, but the work will be done!
