#RIP #BarryHumphries (aka #DameEdna) (1934–2023)
Mostly a #TV celebrity, Humphries (at times billed as DAME EDNA EVERAGE) was seen in several #movies, going all the way back to #StanleyDonen's BEDAZZLED (1967), in which he plays one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Lust.
Other notable #films include: NICHOLAS NICKLEBY (2002) and #AbsolutelyFabulous: The #Movie (2016).
He also provided the voice of #Bruce the #Shark in #Pixar's FINDING NEMO.

A couple of years ago I made a simple little birdsite bot that created daily tweets in the tone of Katy Grin's Carpet Madness ads - purely for my amusement. The characters and acting are perfect, but the stories sometimes lacking. Some of the jokes about the high art/fashion world are very clever but it's like a lot of it is filler in lieu of having a better idea
And when celebrities are in the episodes I feel they're wasted on a boring story. I think what is needed is putting the characters into more unusual situations and a bit more work on the script

Ha ha ha. It's funny.
I think I've watched the first three series. The last episode I watched was called The End ... But it's not the end yet. There's more.
I think the last few episodes have been losing focus a bit, being a bit repetitive.
That's probably why Jennifer Saunders wanted to end it there.
