A Javanese Grasshopper (Valanga nigricornis), something I haven't seen for a while. But while waiting near the bus stop at the Serangoon Bus and Train Interchange, Singapore, one flew up and landed on the railing.

It was pretty calm and didn't mind me sticking my lens near it.

This is Tauchira polychroa, a member of Short-horned Grasshoppers (Family Acrididae). Spotted at Fraser's Hill, Malaysia, on 20 Nov 2018.

A common grasshopper with pretty colours.
