A group of #critcare #physicaltherapy specialists just released a CPG about PT management of patients at risk for or has DVT. The burning question from PT clinicians that seems not answered in the article: How about patients waiting to have Doppler to rule out DVT/PE, not on anticoagulation but has PT consult to evaluate and treat? Is it safe to mobilize or initiate PT?
