The rack arrives tomorrow, barbell sometime this week barring any disasters, and the change plates and ez curl bar and floor mats when the current gym closes in a few weeks. I did it! The weather was *so* nice today that I had an actual thought of "Man, I'd love to work out in the garage today -- it's perfect for it!" And that sealed it: I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the #AmericanBarbell 20KB stainless precision training bar and a 350# set of their black bumper plates. I am unsure if there's some kind of time stamp that makes it work, but I noticed that #AmericanBarbell has a discount code called 'ALMOSTFORGOT' that they auto-apply if you get into checkout and then close your tab.
