I've always had a "Snow White" fantasy where all the woodland creatures would come and be my friend. The reality is my husband is living this fantasy of mine and I just get to take the pictures.

Just saw a shadow move towards our fig tree grove from a distance, went closer to investigate and eventually found this specimen high up in the branches! 🦎 No wonder the birds were sounding the alarm! 🚨 This beautiful Goanna could easily empty their nests 🪺🔜🪹 check out how they wrap their long tail around the tree for balance; from head to tail I'd guess this one to be approximately 1.8m long. Beauty! 🤠 (Where is a DSLR with a decent zoom lens when I need it... 🙈)
