@davep If you sort aspell for #Emacs, let me know what you did. I'm on #GNU/#Linux, which works fine, but some in my group are on Windows and have not got #aspell working.

Even if they were served by a proxy. Sometimes you can be lucky and get the full meaning from a searx alone. But we fully agree that at some point a freeLicence dictionary makes sense.

If its just spellchecking then at least their is #aSpell and #hunSpell etc.

We don't remember seeing any FOSS dictionary programs that don't use the web though.

#TIL: Für #Rechtschreibprüfung im #Firefox braucht man #hunspell-de. #aspell-de reicht nicht. firefox-i18n-de war natürlich auch schon installiert
