My top ten movies, unordered, in case I ever have the opportunity to vote in a film poll. All are from the 30s-40s. Since I’ve seen other lists dominated by 60s-70s films deemed “obviously correct,” I won’t be ashamed to advocate for the 30s-40s. I tried to include a few outside, but kept having to bump them.
