It's #breakfast time and I got the best seat in the house! 😉 I think I'll make this my weekly Sunday reward... Till I find another place where I'm comfortable parking my bike and dining indoors.

I've stopped running Strava on my phone when I #bike. I just use my #Garmin ⌚ and sync to #Strava later. I still run the #BikeCitizens app for some extra data.

@DFRSH757 Something we are working on in #cville is mandating #bicycleparking for new construction. It won't solve the problem overnight, but it will build an expectation of safe storage #biketooter

Spotted in Zuid. This bike was tagged for being parked incorrectly, presumably because it's too close to the tree.

If this bike is still here with the tag the next time they come by, they may remove it and take it to the Fietsdepot on the edge of town.

Which reminds me, whenever I post a picture of a lot of parked bicycles, I inevitably get people claiming that they're mostly abandoned. But the truth is, the city is on it, and tags bicycles pretty quickly.

It's not only the world-famous #Metsokangas school (pinned in my profile) where hundreds of kids arrive by #bike every day also in #winter. This is just some of the #bicycleparking in one of the numerous others, #Kastelli school in #Oulu, #Finland. My guesstimate is over 600 bikes. It takes surprisingly long time, as there are bicycle parking areas on every side of the school. Naturally you can arrive to the school from every direction safely by bike & foot 👌
