If people don’t respect your time they don’t respect you.

If your time is wasted by someone they are not worthy of your time.

Time is precious. And fleeting.

So make sure people (including yourself) don’t waste it.

Time wasting in general is a huge turn-off.

On M you can follow anyone on any server, I follow people on various servers. I've used #BlackMastodon to find people posting about racial justice for example. On Post, #BlackPost has helped

@sbarolo @Rousse @Kleen I have repeatedly requested that people STOP posting Tweets from Musk, adding "vile!" etc. But the explore feed is what you say, plus newies asking what are tips, etc. If you see anything at all worthwhile, follow and look only on that feed.
There are some excellent photographers there, a lot of #BlackPost and so on, but mostly annoying stuff at the moment (except for mine!)

@dawnhumphrey @benjaminwittes I agree. Right now it's Twitter people who don't know what to do, a hundred pet photos, some interesting posts. This said there's already a #BlackPost tag (hashtags just started working a day or two ago). A few celebs which I usually ignore, and some journalists. I believe that eventually, it will be a site with interesting posts, but not a community. It may well be worth watching.

@titchyAlan @taylorlorenz post.news is up and running and the appearance is quite good. But the search bar is for searching for accounts only. If someone posts a hashtag, you can click on it and then get posts with the same, ie #Blackpost. There’s an active effort to make sure there are plenty of Black voices on post.

Media talks. But so far, on Post.news it's only the already famous who seem to get actual views. Twitter looks pretty much the same to me as it did before, but that's because I avoid following the famous and cull out the assholes and trolls.

On the other hand, there are starting to be more posts with #blackpost (similar to #blackmastodon and #blacktwitter). This is encouraging.
