"In an upset, Rail Teamsters in the BLET have voted out incumbent National BLET President Dennis Pierce and elected challenger Eddie Hall.

Nearly 47% of BLET members voted against the tentative rail contract. Now the majority have voted for new leadership and a new direction.

Hall won 52% of the vote of 28,000 BLET Teamsters. The election results have not been certified yet."
