...uh, so, Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne: The Third Reich is actually pretty good. Enough to make me wonder if he actually directed it.

It's not too sophisticated, but in some ways that's the point: the resistance is trying to plan, but Rayne just wants to kill Nazis.

The fights are good, the dialogue is good and delivered fairly well. The Nazis are portrayed as complete fools, which is refreshing.

As a super low budget vampire movie, I'd recommend it.

So I am struggling to go through (the remaster recently released) and it really hasn't aged well. At all. It's so stiff except of course Rayne's breasts, which defy gravity and common sense. It's edgy, tho. I kinda dig the edginess of the time.

Conversely I just remembered there is a movie about this game which includes Ben Kingsley, Udo Kier and goddamn Meat Loaf. It's... incredibly bad.

Surprisingly I've been able to keep the pace in BloodRayne 2! I've had to reference online help because of some of the game mechanics, but once I figure it out I've been able to get through! Still scoring rare achievements by simply playing the game!

I made it through the Ephemera Boss Battle by climbing to the top of the map and kept knocking her down to the first floor over and over again until she got bored. Not quite how I was expecting it to go, but hey… if the game allows for it I won’t ask questions.

I finally made my way past the Meat Packing District in BloodRayne 2! (Terminal Cut)

I got an achievement for committing 50 carnage kills, apparently that’s a rare achievement? I get the feeling not many people have played it, at least post achievement update.

I remember trying to play BloodRayne: Betrayal years ago, but couldn't get the hang of skidding to do a backflip properly. I seem to be doing fine with it on my Steam Deck though, in fact I made it to Chapter 4! I noticed there's a more remastered version of the game that features voice acting and higher resolutions and framerates (oh my). I might consider getting it during an upcoming sale if the price is right. :D
