Until after our next elections, for me supporting Democratic policies and the legislation and executive policies they've managed to get introduced despite GOP opposition should be promoted or at least not attacked.

Democrats passed the biggest climate legislation in the history of the universe that set the U.S. economy on a trajectory to wean itself off of fossil fuels in a decade yet there are still ignorant people saying #BothSidesAreBad I see.

Really curious if the GOP keeps this as their official platform in 2024 and how it works out for them and if the #BothSidesAreBad people that never vote choose to make an exception now that it's gotten so hot since they didn't bother voting before.

Yes perhaps, but it sure seems to me that Democrats pretty much constantly get blamed for not doing enough on social media which just tends to suppress voter turnout because the message so many of the politically inactive take away is #BothSidesAreBad

So, I'm just expressing my concern that I think more people should be trying to keep the Republicans from retaking control over climate, energy, etc. policies.

The Americans that think that #BothSidesAreBad are the ones that didn't show up to vote and I'm tired of them getting a free ride while all of the bad things that Republicans do are blamed on us that are actually trying to do something about it.

It may just be because it's my field, but the #BothSidesAreBad trolls seem to be particularly vocal and thereby receive tons of press in the climate activism arena.

Sad fact is though that the more they whinge on social media about how bad Democrats are it will just lead to more people continuing to not vote leading to the GOP taking over climate policy yet again which is why we're in this mess.

Putting all of the blame on Democrats for what Manchin and Sinema did in the 117th Congress seems like a path towards putting the GOP in charge of the 119th so I'm opposed to your approach.

It's not the elected Democratic senators fault that so many Americans don't bother voting thereby giving the fucking GOP too much damn power and we're not going to convince the nonvoters to break their bad habit by saying that #BothSidesAreBad imo.

I know that rational people find it hard to believe, but there are still a ton of Americans that are willing to let the GOP still keep power because they think that #BothSidesAreBad in our two-party political system that we've allowed to keep control over our political landscape here.

The candidate that the #FossilFools put into our White House took the USA out of the Paris Climate Accord in its first month in office, blocked CAFE standard increases in fuel efficiency, and dismantled nearly 100 policies focused on clean air, water, wildlife and toxic chemicals.

I'd say that person is one of those people trying to get people not to vote because #BothSidesAreBad

I see the media there still feels that it is appropriate to present the debt ceiling in a #BothSidesAreBad framework.

I trust Biden to handle this "crisis" as well as he did his first two years with a narrow senate majority made up of at least two outright DINOs.

The GOP has already harmed the USA by making Biden skip being first POTUS to go to Papua New Guinea. How much more harm are they willing to do to US in order to help China and Russia is my big question.
