Neurologist who manages my chronic headache care and pile of medications - "And you're able to get by and do what you need to do in the day?"

Me - "Well, I've kind of organized my entire life around living in pain so, sure. But if I had to go to work or regularltly be places at particular times then, no."

I don't know how to answer these questions anymore. Like, I gave up a career and autonomy and relationships and projects, and messed with the mental health of everyone in my family, but yeah I continue to exist. 🤷‍♂️
