I was curiouse about Daylight saving time AKA British summer time ,so I looked it up ,in theory its to save energy ,use less lighting etc ,so climate change wise it seems to make a little bit of sense,though we save an infinitesimally small amount.On the other hand .Farmers dont like it and didnt want it and it looks like its really really bad for humans

I see, with confusion, that we are slowly approaching one of the times when I get really confused about springing back or falling forward, for the clocks are on the move. Though I must not be too churlish, for I will gain useful time and light at either end of the day with which to attend to my chores and enjoy my pleasures. And it is only one hour to leap, unlike the Second World War when British Double Summer Time was in effect between 1941 and 1945.
