Just because you CAN show 2 #wimbledon matches at the same time in split screen...
(which is what you're pretty much doing the whole time with these women's matches)
...don't do it.
It's incredibly annoying.
Pick a match and stick with it. If you misjudged the length of a match, or which was going to be the more exciting one... tough.
I mean, there's only a gazillion channels. Show one of these on one of your other channels.

#GlobalBritain, eh? You would think that would generate stories about #Britons and #British institutions trying to do good in the world. Currently, leaders from three of #Britain's major #faith communities are on a visit for #peace in #SouthSudan. But, apart from reports on the #BBC News #Africa pages (kudos to their reporters), I can't find anything on the news pages of the other major #UK #broadcasters. UK #media can be very parochial!

re the different aims of users, I recently used the #rss option to create a podcast and video channel. See my recent toots (numbered 1-7 but 2 was lost when I edited sequence). The aesthetics need tweaking and that could be done with a bit of code to rearrange info in correct sequence for display on reader apps but everything I have seen #journalists #broadcasters who recently migrated from #Twitter bellyache about is already 99% there if you look.

However, one thing I do miss is up to date #news. I followed a lot of #journalists and #broadcasters that just aren’t on here (yet) and I don’t get the same level of breaking information as I did in #twitter. Hoping that’ll change soon.
